The comment feature is one of the best features in WordPress and it separates WordPress from other CMS. Any bloggers/writers will expect the comments from their readers. But all the comments you received are not genuine comments.

Only 1 or 2 percent of comments will be genuine and all other remaining comments will be from marketers and spammers. To prevent them from misusing your blog by their comments, you need to enable particular settings for comments or you can disable it. Of Course, you don’t need comments for every blog post.

The following are the coolest option of the WordPress comment feature:

  • Disable comments for the particular post
  • Disable comments for the particular page
  • Disable comments on all posts
  • Disable comments on all pages
  • Disable comments on older posts
